Also. Mass Effect. I can't believe how long I have lived in ignorance of this game. It has reached a three-way tie with BioShock and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion as one of my favorit games ever (once I get some money I'm buying it).

What's not to like about a game that has a canon lesbian lovechild (okay, sorta)?

So...I said something a while back about my sister's new lab-mix puppy, Dante? She got another puppy in August. This time a pure-breed boxer named Vandal.

I have pictures. It's a puppy-pooloza.

This is Dante. He's a lab-mix and a pound pup. He's currently six months old and sixty pounds. Probably going to end up over a hundred. That's why we think he's part Newfoundland. Since he's already larger than a normal lab and he's not as energetic as a lab.

And this is Vandal, the little guy. He's twenty-five pounds at four months. He may be small but he's waaay more energetic than the big guy.

This is Vandal sleeping. Dante's trying to sneak into the picture.

First off: the second season of Total Drama Island (Total Drama Action) is making me lol. Because, honestly? I'm glad they picked another character to be the 'villain' instead of Heather.

...and re-watching X-Men: Evolution. All I have to say?

Wolverine got pwned. By a fifteen year old girl that went easy on. Booyah, baby. True comedy gold right thar. Basically, Kitty Pryde got mind controll'd by a possessed Jean Gray and so non-possessed X-Men started opposing Jean's puppets. Wolverine was on the prowl, bad attitude and claws ready. Then Kitty phases through the ground. Apparently, the mind control deal made her look like a sad puppy and Wolverine basically went 'd'aw, squirt, you know I can never hurt you' and retracted his claws.

Then Kitty kicked him in the shin and walked through him. Wolverine's reaction? Rub his leg and sulk for the rest of the episode. Kitty- 1 Wolverine- 0

I can't be the only one who thinks that is funny.

Re-installed The Sims (1 not 2, 2 always crashes my computer).

And I haven't laughed like that in the longest time.

Basically, one Sim (Ty Lee) was taking a bath. Then this other character kept going into the bathroom and she kept shooing him out (the other character was the 'default' Newbie guy). Theeen. One character (Mai) saw some roaches in the bathroom so she was stomping them. But Azula was trying to take a bath.

Yes. Apparently every Sim is a pervert.

My sister got a puppy. :| She wanted to name it Chunker but I convinced her Dante was a better name. She got him from the pound. We think Dante is a lab/Newfoundland or Chow mix. He's two months old and a handful. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.

Don't ask about the icon, I was bored.

My birthday was last week. One of my sister's took me out to a restaurant where we never went before. She heard it was good. Food was good but the service was lousy. Oh well.

After some shopping around, she took me to Game Stop and I got two new games. BioShock and Devil May Cry 4.

Haven't finished DMC yet but...BioShock. My. God. I haven't even heard of it before I saw it in GameStop and I now wonder why.

It's...great. Basically, you play Jack. You crash land in the middle of the ocean. The only thing around is a creepy lighthouse and in it is the entrance to an underwater 'utopia' called Rapture. Set in 1960, it's centered around the mystery of Rapture and it's genetically spliced citizens. You have to find out what happened (not saying).

All I have to say is this:

Also. Does anyone else watch Groomer Has It? It's basically a competion for the best dog groomer of the year. And Cassandra did NOT deserve to be eliminated. I mean, Danielle is the most mediocre groomer there and she got a lifeline! That was totally unfair.

Though, I've got to admit. The poodle Bill groomed was hilarious. He really did try to make that dog look like her owner. Boobs and butt included (Bill: Well I couldn't just, y'know. *makes a grabbing motion with his hands; cuts to the owner* Owner: I'm a b-cup, though it's hard to admit it! *laughs* He even put a leash around the dog's middle to simulate a belly ring! Nice to see Lisa lose a challenge for once.

Edit: And the judges tell how this challenge was better than me. :| I'm not surprised that Xavier had such a hard time judging the challenge. (And I'm pretty sure he was insulted a few weeks ago when Marco and Lisa had their kickboxing class. Marco told Lisa to imagine a block of wood was Xavier so she would kick it hard enough. The trainer asked her who Xavier was and she responded "a little rat-faced".)

Oh and saw a 192 pound Mastiff today at the vet office whee I intern at. It was a simple surgery so we didn't even bother putting it on the surgery table. And we let it wander around the surgery room after we shot it with some pre-anesthetic. We put up a grate in the room so it wouldn't escape.

Nice dog but huge.

So, my Skills USA thing last week went okay. Didn't realize eastern Washington was so dry, though. Guess I'm really a western Washington gal.

On my trip I discovered a show called 'Seven Deadly Sins' on the History channel. I remembered my Gluttony Rp journal, luxuryislovely, and wanted to a short story or something about humanized sins. All I really have in my head is that Lust and Gluttony are college-aged brothers that prey mostly on older teenagers; Pride, Envy, and Greed are also sisters of various ages. Wrath and Sloth aren't related, they just do their own thing. Sloth is Acedia and the remaining twin; his twin, Despair, was renounced as a sin centuries ago. ...I don't know where I'm going with this. I'll post more on that later, if anyone wants to read it.

Anyways, got a copy of Neverwhere from the library. Haven't started reading it yet but I can't wait to. Because Gaiman is <3. ...also wanted to check out 'Coraline', too, but decided not to. Since it felt awkward. I guess I'll wait for the movie. The free 'read Coraline online' thing cut off half the book.
